A passion and interest in country sports

The aim of The City Sporting Club is simple: to bring together people who share a passion and interest in country sports - whether it be shooting, fishing, stalking or riding.

By bringing like-minded people together in a social environment under the auspices of The City Sporting Club we are able to offer a wide range of benefits and sporting related services to our members. These benefits and services will appeal to those who would like greater access to organised country sports as well as a variety of social events in and around London.

Club activities will include a Roving Shooting Syndicate, Simulated Game Days, Fly Fishing Instruction, Polo Introduction Days, Members’ Dinners and Parties, House Party Weekends that include shooting, wildfowling and much, much more.

The City Sporting Club is run by the Fox Harris sporting agency. Its Directors have long recognised the demand among London-based country sports people for the creation of a club able to reflect their needs; needs which are as varied as access to shooting and help with corporate and social entertaining.

At the heart of The City Sporting Club is a simple philosophy: respect for the environment and the countryside and its compatibility with field sports whilst respecting the wider sporting community and the sport of others within the countryside.

Membership Benefits

Members will receive a range of generous incentives that make The City Sporting Club extremely cost effective. Apart from access to a wide range of country sports activities, members will receive discounts or “Bird Miles” on all their bookings and introductions - whether it is simulated shooting or game days. Equally attractive is the Club has arranged generous discounts at a wide range of the capital’s sporting goods emporia.

Club Members will also become reciprocal Members of the Boisdale Club. Boisdales has been established for nearly 20 years and is one of the Capital’s leading restaurant and hotel groups.
